Is the gallery family friendly?
The gallery welcome visitors of all ages. Some photos may explore themes intended for thoughtful reflection, much like the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute or Birmingham Museum of Art. Families are encouraged to engage with younger visitors during their experience.
How should I conduct myself at the gallery?
Treat this place the same way you would your grandma’s house; Please conduct yourself that is respectful to you, staff, and other patrons. This includes, but is not limited to: no horseplay, no derogatory statements toward the others or the gallery subjects, and no harassment and/or abuse. If you are not able to conduct yourself in a reasonable manner, you will be asked to leave.
Is there a dress code?
Dress the same you would to an art gallery or a public outing. Please be considerate to the other patrons in the space. (Note: Do not take your shoes off in the gallery space.)
Is the gallery wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the gallery is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us ahead of your visit if you would need assistance of any type.
Are there bathrooms at the gallery?
Yes, there is a bathroom. There will be signs leading you to the facilities.
Is there any equipment I can use to explore the gallery?
Yes, there will be non-latex gloves and hand sanitizer located in the gallery space for patron use. Furthermore, the gallery will clean and disinfected each day.
Are weapons allowed?
No, weapons are not permitted in the gallery space.
